Details:

"One Good Running Club (for Kids!)" meets TUESDAY AFTERNOONS at 4:00pm, starting from the large playground at Hugh McRae Park. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour. We start with stretching, learn a little about running, go for a jog and finish with snacks.

Distances are appropriate for ages 5-10, and the club is intended for ALL fitness levels. Children are encouraged to move at their own, comfortable pace.  If you have any questions, comments or worries, please contact Coach Roxanne at (919) 995-0763.

Cost:

A one-time registration fee of $75 is due at your child's first meeting. That fee includes 10 classes, post-run snacks and race entry for our end-of-season 5k race. (**T shirts are available separately for $10 each.) There are no partial or complete refunds should your child be unable to participate on race day, nor do we offer refunds for missed sessions or abandoned registrations. We hope this policy will encourage consistent attendance and, in turn, a true love for the sport.

Additional Notes:

Please wear appropriate athletic sneakers and lightweight clothing.  We recommend bringing water for before and after each run. If there is heavy rain, thunder or lightning, all runs will be cancelled or postponed. Each registration includes 2 guest passes -- Bring a friend, a neighbor, your sister or your cousin!
