MORETTO
Private Coach

First and foremost, there’s something you should know:
Roxanne Stockdale is NOT a personal trainer.
She’s a runner, and she'd like to make you a runner too.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Jesus College, Cambridge, Roxanne holds both bachelor and masters’ degrees in English Literature.
Until the age of 21, she was patently “unathletic,” her single foray into team sports being a second-grade softball league, for which she played pitcher (in an intentional effort to avoid running for the ball).
Since accepting her “adult-onset athleticism,” Roxanne has lost 30 pounds, logged over 2,000 miles and competed in more than 50 road races -- in every distance from 5ks to marathons. She has worked as a member of various running clubs in the US and Australia, as a cross-country coach for elementary-age children and a private coach for all levels of runners (and walkers).
Roxanne is currently studying for RRCA certification and training for her first sub-3:30 marathon (at Boston in 2009).

Even at a young age, Rebeca Moretto was fascinated by health.
At thirteen years old, she began annual trips to Guayaquil, Ecuador, working for seven years as a translator in free, professional medical clinics, and was exposed, firsthand, to the detrimental effects a lack of health can have on a population. Her growing interest and understanding of public health applications led Rebeca to a B.S. in Community Health Education from East Carolina University and a Masters of Public Health in Global Health from New York Medical College.
As an undergraduate, Rebeca was certified by the American Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) in group aerobics instruction and perinatal fitness and taught regular classes in kickboxing, spinning and water aerobics. She began running, recreationally, with college friends and colleagues. She also worked as a Health Outreach Coordinator for migrant farm workers in eastern NC and as a Health Education Specialist, creating maternal and child health campaigns for four counties in NY state.
During her time in NY, Rebeca trained with Team in Training for the Mayor’s Midnight Sun Marathon in Anchorage Alaska. Although the schedule was grueling, it became one of the most rewarding experiences of her life, leading her to re-evaluate her career path, seek certification as a birth doula and start her own business. Rebeca is now a Certified Health Education Specialist, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula (or professional labor attendant), working through Radiance Doula Services.
One Good Run is excited to partner with Rebeca as a satellite coach for southern Wake County. She is living proof that a great attitude can help your body perform amazing feats and re-shape the rest of your life!
